Maria was born in the Philippines and raised in Edmonton. She graduated from Makami College and has been teaching and learning from an array of different pratitioners over her 8 years as a therapist. Her syle of treatment focuses on targeting and working directly on specific sites of injury. She is certified in The Graston Method, which uses a stainless steel tool to gently break up areas of adhesion in the muscles and fascia. She also is certified in Cupping Therapy which is used to relax muscles and stimulate lymph and blood circulation. She has a passion for learning and adding skills to her ‘bag of tricks’ with plans to continue her study in many areas. Of her profession Maria says ‘Massage is an amazing way to relieve aches and pains, rehabilitate injuries and brings overall wellness in life.’ Maria is a fitness afictionado who loves food and is always up for a trip to the mountains to hit the hiking trails and ski slopes.

Anil completed his first degree as a Bachelor of Science at the University of Alberta and went on to study physiotherapy at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. ​ After graduating as a physiotherapist in 1999, Anil has worked in Orthopaedic private practice ever since. Manual therapy including spinal manipulation is a high level skill requiring years of training and certification to master. In his experience , Anil has found and developed his method which is a hybrid, combining manual therapy with acupuncture and dry needling as well as muscle and fascia release. Having worked and studied with some of the best physiotherapists and body workers in the country has given him a vast bag of tricks to help his clients get beyond their movement restrictions.

Alex spent his childhood in Kelowna and moved to Edmonton where he graduated with honors from The Alberta College of Massage Therapy. He has certification and a special interest in Orthopaedic Massage, a type of injury rehabilitation that focuses on the muscles and soft tissues surrounding joints. He says “I always had a deep interest in the way the body works, and how to rehab and treat it.” He describes his treatment style as clinical and therapeutic, ‘I like to get at the root of the problem and work my way out’ His hobbies include exploring trails on his mountain bike, hiking with his 3 beloved pups, and getting out for some road cycling.
